Swap One Word to Change Your Perspective

In James Clear’s Atomic Habits, the phrase “have to” was replaced with “get to.” I decided to be silly and use it this way: “I get to stay an extra hour at work today.” I felt the difference. My body lifted, and I actually looked forward to staying at work instead of dreading it. See for yourself. It’s the most fun when you apply it in ridiculous circumstances. Changing your word choices is powerful!
