Dr. Gundry’s Egg Roll in a Bowl

Ingredients

wild shrimp

1 head of cabbage

broccoli slaw

5 green onions

1/2 yellow onion

3 cloves of garlic

ginger

sesame seed oil

coconut aminos

sesame seeds

 


 

Prepare the Ingredients

Mince 3 cloves of garlic.

Grate the ginger (about 1 tablespoon).

Cut the green onions.

Put the yellow onion in the food processor.

Cut the cabbage.

 


Sauté

On medium high heat, add 2 tbsp of sesame oil.

Add the ginger.

Add the green onions.

Add the yellow onion.

Add the garlic.

Stir.

Add the shrimp.

Add the cabbage.

Add the broccoli slaw.

Stir until the cabbage and broccoli slaw have wilted a little bit.

Add 3 tbsp of coconut aminos.

Add 2 tbsp of sesame seeds.  And stir.

Add salt to taste.

 


 

Hot Tips

  • Cook the mixture for a longer time if you don’t like it as crunchy.
  • Dr. Gundry used Quorn instead of shrimp in his recipe.
  • If you would like a spicier dish, add siracha sauce.
