Dr. Gundry’s 16:8 fasting method calls for you to eat all of your calories during an 8-hour period of time (such as 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.).  It’s fine to drink water, unsweetened tea, or black coffee at any time during the day.

Our ancestors ate when they found food.  Sometimes they wouldn’t eat for days.  The 16:8 fasting keeps your body guessing in the same way that fasting did for our ancestors.
