Nick Ortner, author of The Tapping Solution, explains in this video how Tapping/EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) works.  About 15 minutes into the video, he leads us through a tapping activity.


Tapping is healing because it sends a calming signal to the amygdala, the flight or flight response center.  Then we can clear out stresses and pain from the past.  When I do tapping, I often release tears.  Tears are an expression of stress released from the body.
