11/26/17 — Banana Chocolate Ice-cream

Banana Chocolate Ice-cream

 

Ingredients:

2 bananas (frozen and cut)

organic walnuts (use fingers to crush into small bits)

organic shredded coconut

organic cacao powder

organic cacao nibs

vanilla extract

Peel the 2 bananas.  Cut the bananas into small pieces.  Put the bananas in the freezer for at least an hour.

Take the bananas out of the freezer.  Cover the frozen bananas in walnuts, shredded coconut, cacao powder and cacao nibs.

Put 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract in the ice-cream maker.  Press the “On” button to let the vanilla extract coat the inside of the machine.

Put the bananas in the ice-cream maker.

Press the “On” button.

Push the banana mixture down.

Twirl the bowl around to get the desired ice-cream look.

 

Hot Tips:

  • Use any kind of nut you prefer.
  • Let the bananas sit for about 5-10 minutes before you put them in the ice-cream maker.  Otherwise, you won’t be able to push the bananas down in the machine.
  • Don’t leave the ice-cream maker running for too long.
  • If the ingredients aren’t coating the bananas, put them in separately from the bananas.
