Almond Milk

Soak 3 cups of almonds in filtered water overnight (or for 8 hours).  The almonds should be completely covered with water.

Strain the almonds.

In a blender, add 5 cups of filtered water to the almonds.

Blend the almonds.

Blend the almonds at a higher level.

Put a cheese cloth over a bowl.  Use a rubber band to keep it in place.

Strain the almond blend over the cheese cloth.

 

Hot Tips:

  • The cheesecloth might slip.  You might have to hold it in place.
  • Use a smaller bowl so that the cheesecloth surrounds the bowl completely.
  • Use a thicker rubber band so the cheesecloth doesn’t slip.
