Dandelion

(Taraxacum officinale)

 

Fun Fact:  Dandelion is the common name for a corruption of the French “Dent de Lion” or “lion’s tooth.”  (Its leaves appear very toothlike).

Fun Fact II:  The herbs that our body needs the most tend to grow within a mile of us.

 

Dandelions can treat the following conditions:

  • high blood pressure
  • calcium deficiency
  • cancer
  • diabetes
  • diverticulitis
  • irritable bowel syndrome
