“The King of Spices”

Turmeric

 

Turmeric is known as “the king of spices.”  What makes turmeric amazing is the active ingredient inside of it, called curcumin.  Curcumin fights inflammation.  Inflammation is the hidden cause of the following diseases:

  • cancer
  • arthritis
  • digestive disorders
  • neurodegenerative diseases (e.g. Alzheimer’s and dementia)
  • cardiovascular issues

 

Ways to eat turmeric:

 

Hot Tips:

  • Combine turmeric with a good fat and black pepper to bring out its properties.
  • One teaspoon is ideal.
  • Buy “organic.”
